This is my favorite holiday. Its a time of promise. You can feel all the life strengthening and see changes on a daily basis. Mother Earth is waking up after the winter's sleep. Last weekend I found a set of deer antlers that some buck had dropped out in the woods. I feel very lucky for that. A perfect set of 5-pointers. I think I'll incorporate them into some kind of altar at some point.
For years I celebrated Ostara morning by going out to watch the sun rise over the ocean. I moved inland last year and can't get to the ocean so easily, so this year, I'm going to start my garden seeds as a sort of ritual in honor of the Earth. I might go out to where I found the antlers and leave an offering for the land.
Cheers!
