Pipe Smoking

I quit cigarettes back in 2005 (after about 26 years of a pack-a-day puffing) . About a year after that I picked up the pipe. I basically only smoke on the weekends and on days off and I only smoke outdoors (and like Clinton, I don't inhale). This is the way tobacco was meant to be savored in a responsible way I think. Walking through the woods with the hound dogs baying and a pipe full of nice Virginia flake on a cool fall day makes life more enjoyable I think.

Wassail!

I've never smoked cigarettes and I love the smell of pipe or cigar (smoke an occasional cigar -- purely for the purpose of being celebratory). Cigars make us slow down to appreciate a moment of doing nothing but enjoying the time until the smoke is spent.

What other past-time can say that much? {Not to mention flavor, and letting the world know you're here.}
